Let’s depart the mouth of the Saguenay River into the St. Lawrence estuary at Tadoussac, keep an eye out for the beluga whales that make their home in these waters. Following the river eastward, toward Parc national du Bic – known for its mountains and bays – you’ll witness changing seascapes and shorelines. Fertile farmlands, forests, and mountains will accompany you as you sail to Matane, where lies a wonderful beach, active fishery, lighthouse, and much more.
